The river Miño is the natural border between Portugal and Spain. However, since new bridges helped to link both sides in the last two decades, the connections got more and more fluent. This fantastic view over the Galician side is posible thanks to this bar in the tiny 400-inhabitant-town of Lovelhe, part of Vila Nova de Cerveira in Northern Portugal. It is just a couple of minutes away from the international bridge that joins Goián and Vila Nova de Cerveira. To get there, you just need to follow the street “Rua da Lenta” until its very end, where it twists back to the green area where cyclists enjoy the “ecovia”, a bike line of several kilometers.

Come back next Thursday for a new hidden gem!
